How do I develop my competence within a particular skill?
To develop a particular skill you should follow the process of skill development offered within RAPID. This is done by following the SPEED process.
To develop a particular skill you would be well advised to discover what help may be available from the 'Useful Links' link on the SPEED home page.
In addition, you will need also to identify a skill development opportunity for the skill(s) you wish to develop
To record your Skill Development within RAPID, click on the appropriate skill within the SPEED component and click the 'DEVELOP' button in the left hand frame. In the first text box provided input details of the skill development opportunity you intend to follow. Other text boxes are provided to enable you to create an 'Action Plan', and to 'Review, Reflect upon and Evaluate' the activity undertaken on completion.
