How do the
skills within RAPID relate to the knowledge, competencies, and awareness
of values expected of ABE members?
The skills recorded in the RAPID Progress File are divided into:
- Key skills (derived from existing QCA specifications)
- Personal and Professional skills (based on PDP/CPD programmes)
- Technical skills (based on ABE competence expectations)
Whilst the development of all these skills will enhance your students'/graduates'
prospects of achieving membership of the ABE, the Technical Skills have
been developed in line with the competencies valued by the ABE.
